If you are not in a situation to re install the windows the route is bit complex.Some viruses make the system slow dampening your progress.In this situation scanning with antivirus is impractical..most of them end up in full C drive formating after giving huge efforts.stop cutting the tree with blunt axe take a different route. sharpening it will save a lot of time and energy.
Take a different approach try to find out which particular process is creating the problem.processes can be opened by giving alt+ctrl+del.. together..the first tab is applications and the second one processes..go through the list and target the exe's with strange name try end tasking it(some of them will be sytem critical processes)..now see whether the problem has gone or not.
end task all the unwanted processes until your problem is fixed.. don't stop with that.. after restart the problems will be back again.. you need a specialist to clean up the mess called "hijack this"
.scan with that you ll get the names of the culprits creating problems..but be careful about what your doing don't remove all of them from the list as most of them are programs or useful system processes...
How to know which one is good and which one is bad?? if you know the programs installed in your sytem and if you know the name of common system processes -the job is easy.
If no critical data's or programs are there in the system its better to go for new windows installation scanning and hunting will only consume more time in some cases.

Jeefo never stops irritating
Its one of its kind which behaves like a true biological virus it spreads like a cancer drive to drive, system to system, network to network but never stops.I slogged one week for this virus. tried scanning with updated NAV but in vain..Then i got the technician for jeefo..
At the end of the day I badly wanted to see jeefo in blood bath Jeefo fix tool did just that.

another one which likes to slow down system and the network speed. a green web page will pop from nowhere if you have this in your system. Not an easy one remove.
